Mixed Football Tournament 2023

Here is a quick rundown of how our mixed tournament will work:

• There is space for 24 teams to take part. All teams must already be registered to a Play Football league. The men who are playing for your team do not need to be registered with Play Football. 
• There is no limit to the number of players assigned to your team but you must start with at least one male player on the court and there can only be a maximum of three male players from your team on the court at one time.
• There should only be one male player positioned in each third of the court. For example, GA, C and GK. You cannot have two male shooters or two male defenders in the circle.
• There will be 4 groups of 6 teams. You will play each team in your group once. Winning teams will then move onto further matches. If you have not succeeded past the group stage, there are opportunities for you to play friendlies with other teams. 
• Team registration is £80. This will need to be paid in advance to confirm your team’s space. 
• You don’t need to provide an umpire or scorer. Teams will need to bring their own bibs.
• There will be trophies awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
