Welcome to Play Rounders! Play Sports Leagues, renowned for our successful and inclusive social sports leagues across the UK, is thrilled to announce the launch Play Rounders. Following the footsteps of Play Netball, Play Hockey, and Play 5-a-Side, Play Rounders aims to provide yet another avenue for women across the country to engage in fun and inclusive social sports!

Play Rounders was inspired by YOU! Our Play Netball, Play 5-a-Side and Play Hockey leagues were always letting us know that they were keen for more sport, so we asked them what they’d like to see us do next. Play Rounders had always been a concept that Play Sports Leagues had been talking about, but after asking our players and receiving resounding responses, we knew that the time was right, and Play Rounders was born in 2023!
Our commitment
The decision to introduce Play Rounders stems from Play Sports Leagues’ overarching mission to empower women by giving them access to any sport they enjoy. By adding Rounders to our available leagues, Play Sports Leagues reaffirms our commitment to providing inclusive and welcoming spaces where women of all skill levels can come together to play, compete, and have fun. Excitement for the launch of Play Rounders has been bubbling since 2023 and we can’t wait for more women across the UK to join in the fun.
